Ghana’s Presidential and Parliamentary Elections 2016


With the ruling National Democratic Congress being hit by corruption scandals and economic underperformance, political parties in the opposition set out on a mission to win the hearts of voters.

Active campaigning started early in the year with party leaders and their teams setting out nationwide to present their message to Ghanaians. Prospects of taking up power from the ruling NDC were high.
